Football/Competition Cheer Coach: Kaitlyn Hill
Mrs. Kaitlyn Hill has teaching for eight years with seven being at Blackman Middle. She was the coach of the Basketball Cheerleaders for three seasons. The 2022-2023 season was her first year coaching Football/Competition team. The team won their first ever TSSAA State Competition, and they made it to the semi-finals round of Nationals. This will be her second year coaching Football/Competition cheer.
She graduated from Cumberland University in 2012 with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Secondary Education. Later, she earned Master's Degree in Educational Leadership from Carson-Newman University in May 2020. Coach Hill graduated with Educational Specialist degree in August 2022 and her Doctorate of Education degree in May 2023.
Mrs. Hill is excited to begin the new season! She is looking forward to a return trip to Disney and making many memories with great girls and parents!
Football/Competition Cheer Coach: Jennifer Polston Mrs. Jennifer Polston has been teaching 6th grade ELA at BMS for 6 years. She coached the Basketball Cheer team for the 2020-2022 seasons and moved to the Football/Competition Cheer team in 2022. The 2022-2023 team won their first TSSAA State Cheer title. This will be her second year coaching the Football/Competition Cheer team. Mrs. Polston earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education in 2005 and her Master’s Degree in Adult Education and Training in 2011. She has been married for 8 years and has two children – Cooper (7) and Lily (4). She loves teaching and helping kids in the classroom. Mrs. Polston can’t wait to see all the great things this cheer year will bring!! |
Basketball Cheer Coach: Kristen Radcliffe
Mrs. Kristen Radcliffe will be starting her fourth year at Blackman Middle School, where she teaches 7th grade ELA. This will be her second year to coach the Basketball Cheer Team.. She graduated from Middle Tennessee State University in 2018. In May 2022, she graduated with her Master's in Teaching from Trevecca Nazarene University.. Mrs. Radcliffe has been a part of the Basketball Cheer Team as a parent as well as a coach. She cannot wait to get the season started. She is looking forward to another great season.

She graduated in 2019 from the University of Dayton with a Bachelor's Degree in Adolescent to Young Adult Education. This will be Ms. Kenne’s second coaching yearthe Basketball Cheerleading squad. She so excited for the new season and is looking forward to a great year!
